I believe that YHWH sent His only begotten Son into the world to pay the price for our sin (John 3:16) and that Yeshua was His given name (though He is commonly known as "Jesus" to most). When He came to this earth, He did so having been born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-20), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4), and is now seated at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19; Luke 22:69; Acts 2:33) having accomplished all that is necessary for man's salvation (as described in all four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as well as in the books of Romans and Hebrews and all throughout the New Testament).
I believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by professing Yeshua (Jesus) as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart, thus resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-10). I believe salvation comes by Grace through Faith and that it is the free gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8). I also believe that this profession of faith should be followed by full immersion baptism as a public act of obedience (Acts 2:38). Once saved, I believe YHWH's Law (Torah) becomes written on our heart (Jeremiah 31:33). The Law cannot save us, but it does set the standard for what sin is (1 John 3:4). Once saved, we should strive to not sin (1 John 2:1-6) and with the power of the Holy Spirit living within us, we should be compelled to obey God (Romans 8:1-16). We do so not out of a need to "work for our salvation" but rather, simply out of love for and obedience to our Heavenly Father (1 John 5:3,4) who sent His only Son to save us by Grace through Faith in His finished work alone.
As Believers in Yeshua (Jesus), I understand that we are now His body here on earth and therefore I believe we should be doing what His body did while He walked this earth: proclaiming the Kingdom message, healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons, curing lepers... and even greater works (John 14:12;1 Corinthians 12:28; Mark 16:17,18). Thus, I choose to accept the words of our Savior and reject the words of men who teach that the "Gifts of the Spirit" passed away with the Apostles as described in the (Satan inspired) Doctrine of Cessation, which is in direct contradiction to many New Testament Scriptures, not the least of which, Romans 11:29 and those already given above.
I believe all born-again Believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all the world (Matthew 28:18-20).
I believe the Holy Bible is Divinely inspired (2 Timothy 3:16), written by men and empowered by God, infallible and authoritative in the original manuscripts. When it comes to translations of the Bible, I believe it is profitable to compare multiple versions, while cross-referencing the original languages in order to discern the meanings and truths that the Scriptures are trying to convey in languages that are very different from the original texts, which were written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. That said, although I do believe such study techniques can be helpful, the fact is, one only needs to read the Scriptures and trust the Holy Spirit to lead them to all truth. There is no need for human teachers to explain them to us (1 John 2:27).
NON-ESSENTIALS: Although many consider some of the following to be a critically important, I include them in the Non-Essential category because I do not see these topics as being necessary to believe in or not in order to go to Heaven.
Creation: I believe in a literal six day Creation by God. I do not subscibe to any notion of evolution, whether via the standard Dawinian model, the theistic evolutionary model or the pan-spermia model. I take the Bible literally and thus adhere to the Genesis account of Creation.
The Rapture: I believe Yeshua (Jesus) is coming again - probably soon. I do believe in the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), however I do not believe the timing of it is something that Believers should be arguing about, thus causing division. Although I personally believe the Post-Tribulation/Pre-Wrath Rapture has the most biblical support (Matthew 24:29-31), my heart's desire to be ready for it whenever it happens. I would rather be prepared (for the long haul) and not need to be, than not be prepared when I do need to be. Regardless, I believe we were commanded to occupy until He returns (Luke 19:13), not sit back and wait for some great escape. Death is just as imminent as the Rapture and therefore my focus is on reaching the Lost, and not on leaving them behind.
Extra-Biblical texts: I am often accused of relying too heavily on "extra-biblical sources" to support the claims being made on this website or in our materials. I take issue with that notion because there are many things in the current canon of Scripture that simply can not be fully understood without external reference. Take a "centurion" for instance. If all we had was the Bible, we'd have no clue who or what a centurion truly was beyond a passing understanding that he was a leader of Roman soldiers. The same would be true of a "pharaoh." All we'd know is that such a person ruled Egypt. To have a deeper understanding of either, we'd have to go to sources outside of the Bible. And that's exactly what scholars have done for centuries regarding anything not fully explained by the text itself. Therefore, the same must hold true for topics like the "Nephilim." Both the writers of the Bible as well as those to whom it was addressed knew and understood who and what the Nephilim were. How did they know that? They knew because Hebrew writers had written detailed books about these creatures. If we can consult Egyptian texts to understand pharaohs and Roman texts to understand centurions, might we not also consult Hebrew texts to understand Biblical concepts, themes, ideas and topics such as the Nephilim? I believe this is a valid, scholarly approach with much precedence in Biblical research and thus find most of the ridicule that we receive on the issue of using "extra-biblical sources" to be unfounded, biased and quite hypocritical considering the extensive use of other sources that are often used to explore many other subjects in the Bible.
That being said, I believe there are other books outside of the current canon of Scripture worthy of note: particularly books that are actually named and/or are referenced either directly or by inference by the Bible itself (like the books of 1 Enoch, Jasher and Jubilees for instance). However, our position is that if there are any contradictions found in those "extra-Biblical books," we will always err on the side of "accepted canon." Otherwise, I believe they are worthy of consideration for additional information and elaboration on existing canon. Furthermore, if the Divinely inspired authors of "accepted canon" can quote from these other ancient text, we again find it quite hypocritical and unjustified for people to ridicule us for doing the same.
The Nephilim: I believe that Yeshua was serious when He said in Matthew 24:37, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man." When looking at the 950 years of Noah's life, it is clear that there are going to be a lot of strange and scary things happening in the Last Days - that most people are not prepared for, since so few in the Church seem to ever address this issue. Namely, the return of the Nephilim and possibly the Watchers who created them.
(NOTE: It is difficult to tell everything we believe in 13 bullet points, but we make this Statement of Faith available to those who ask for one so they will know we are Bible-believing Christians. Watching, listening to and reading our teachings will give you much more information. We appreciate your interest in our projects!)
WHO IS ROB SKIBA?
Some say I am a teacher. While it is true that I do teach, I believe that to teach is to learn twice. Thus, I consider myself to be more of a vocal student and a re-searcher than a teacher. I'm on a quest for truth. When I find what I think/believe to be the truth on any given subject, I am hard-wired to share it with anyone willing to listen. That said, I am always careful to point out that no one should listen to or believe anything I say. Rather, I encourage people to search and see if the things I'm saying be true and to always let the Holy Spirit be the One who teaches and leads them to the truth, not me, nor any other person.
I am someone who has been given the gift of artistic creativity. This takes on many forms, from pencil drawings, to painting, sculpting and now writing, directing and producing digital media. In everything I do, I seek to bring glory and honor to the King of kings and Lord of lords, Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. I am simply a flawed man trying to use the gifts, talents and abilities YHWH has given me in ways that enable me to have a deeper relationship with and understanding of Him so that I may become more like Him. My sincere desire is to show others how to do the same and to do so with that which I have been gifted by YHWH to do.
In addition, as a "watchman on the wall" I seek to understand the times we are living in, to become educated, and to not fall prey to the Coming Great Deception (which is already well underway). As I study the Scriptures, history and current events, it is my desire to produce materials, which enable me to share my findings with the world. The books, DVDs and audio recordings on this website (and elsewhere) represent the fruits of those labors.
I do not claim to have the corner on truth. I share only what I believe I am learning from God. I encourage you to be a "good Berean" and search these things out for yourself and let the Holy Spirit be your only source for determining what is true. My own views have changed on various topics over the years and they continue to mature as new revelation is discovered and things I formerly believed are proven wrong from the searching of Scripture and interaction with brothers and sisters in the Lord who have insight to offer. I am not perfect and therefore I try to remain open and teachable. I ask that you do the same.
As for my testimony, the following video tells my life story in about 3 minutes:
NOTE: The above video was made back in 2004. Like many churches at that time, my home church in Massachusetts was doing The Purpose Driven Life program. As someone who was serving in full-time ministry, I was asked to put together a 3 minute testimony to show how I was "Shaped for Service" and this video was the result. That said, it is not meant to serve as any kind of endorsement for Rick Warren (someone who I do not agree with concerning a number of things). However, his book, The Purpose Driven Life did in fact help me through a difficult season in my life and I am not ashamed to admit it. The fact remains, it is a part of my testimony, which is why I included it in this presentation. Also, I am no longer part of East-West Ministries (though I do support their work and believe in their mission).
Were you blessed by this information?
If so, would you please consider making a contribution to our ministry?
Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man."
We believe we are entering the time known as the Last Days. If this is true, then we need to be looking at what was going on in "the days of Noah" so that we can be prepared for what is to come. Therefore, we are putting a considerable amount of time and energy into researching both the days of Noah as well as current events in order to "package" this information up into a mainstream sci-fi series called SEED.
The purpose of SEED is "To plant seeds that will enable people to understand the times we live in and to walk in the power of the Kingdom that comes only through a relationship with Jesus Christ."
We can only do that with your help. Our ministry is part of an organization called Mountain Movers International, which means that in addition to helping us with our mission, your contribution will be 100% tax deductible!
Writing books and blogs about this sort of stuff is great, but it won't reach the masses like an episodic sci-fi series could. With science fiction, people "suspend their disbelief," which means they are open to believing whatever the producers which to promote. Unfortunately, this is a realm that has been ruled by the Devil for far too long. TV shows and movies have been promoting lies and have literally been used to shape culture for decades. We believe it is time to take advantage of this powerful medium for the sake of Truth. And that's exactly what we are trying to do with SEED. For more information on our project, who we are and why we are doing what we're doing, please watch:

Thank you for taking the time to view this information.
Again, if it was a blessing to you, please consider partnering with us to get the word out to the masses. Share this blog on your Facebook and other social networking sites and tell your friends and family about SEED the series!
